Star Wars is an epic space opera franchise initially conceived by George Lucas. The first film in the franchise was simply titled Star Wars, but later had the subtitle Episode IV: A New Hope added to distinguish it from its sequels and prequels. Star Wars was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox, and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon, spawning two immediate sequels released in three-year intervals. Sixteen years after the release of the trilogy's final film, the first in a new prequel trilogy of films was released, again released in three-year intervals, with the final film released in 2005.

RoomMates RMK1382SCS Star Wars Clone Wars Peel and Stick Wall DecalReviewsMy grandson, 7, a Star Wars fanatic, loves these wall stickums. It's good you can move them around without damage to the walls. I bought these for my 4 year old son's room and he absolutely loves them! They look really nice with his star wars clone wars bedding from Target. Good quality, good price! Thanks Amazon. Clone Wars is his favorite Star Wars line, and he loves the cartoons. I picked this up for his B-day with the clone wars bed set and it goes well together. He was thrilled the lightsabers glow in the dark! He just loves these, great price for what you get, too! My six year old son loved these appliques. We first used them as decorations for his birthday party and then moved them to his bedroom. They are a great size, not too small and have a good variety of characters. The material is stronger than some I have purchased in the past and do not easily rip when repositioning them. We used the stickers to decorate our five year old son's bedroom and he loves them, especially the the glow in the dark light sabers. Average Rating:![]() |

RoomMates RMK1402GM Star Wars Yoda Glow in the Dark Peel & Stick Giant Wall DecalReviewsI originally saw Fatheads version of this for over $100.00. My son didn't know any difference when these went up on his wall and I saved a lot of money purchasing these! Yoda is huge. The lightsaber glows in the dark. They are very heavy & durable. They've been up for months now and no sign of peeling off. I even removed and repositioned some and they're still adhering quite well. this is a wonderful product. Looked great in our son's room. there are a couple of cons: 1) it'll take two people to make it easier to peel off and apply. One person can do it but takes awhile. I did it for awhile and finally decided to ask my wife for help, not because I couldn't do it, but wanted it to look better to make sure there are no wrinkles or creases. 2) be careful when you peel it off, some parts can be torn off, but that's also one of the advantages of this, is that you can match it up without noticing the fissure with that said, the overall product is wonderful, looks great. I am a big yoda fan myself and it looks like Master Yoda is about to pop out from the wall Do wish they have more than one pose for Yoda. This seems to be the universal pose in many products out there... some of the left over decals we put on his door instead of the wall, stick just as good and can be moved.... This was a little hard for my 9 year old to peel so I did it for him. It looks GREAT up! And the life saver glows!! Not much to review here. Was a quality wall-sticker and very easy to assemble/apply. Would definitely order more in this series AND from the same seller. Easy to put up & he looks great in my son's starwars bedroom! He loves that the light saber glows in the dark! Average Rating:![]() |

Star Wars Trilogy Entertainment Poster Print, 24x36ReviewsI bought this poster from Amazon for my 6 year olds Star Wars themed bedroom. He loves it. Went to Aaron Brothers and got a 12.00 poster frame and it worked out great. He really loves this poster because it has everything in it from Han Solo, Jabba the Hut and the Ewoks! He is thrilled. Bright colors + passionate portrayals of the characters + a constant reminder of the greatness delivered by Star Wars = One super poster. Highest recomendations. It's probably because I'm a geek, but this poster is one of the better ones I have displayed in my room. I like it because it's very close to the original movie posters, unlike some of the others I have seen. If you have some wall space and are a fan, I definitely recommend it! This was for my 6 yr old son and he loves it as does my 35 yr old fiance' and his 4 yr old daughter! I put it right into a poster frame and right up on my son's bedroom wall. He loves it! Queen of the Damned (Widescreen Edition)ReviewsI've suddenly found myself into Anne Rice, the movie definitely didn't disappoint. My newest obsession! =o) Came quickly and the movie was in great shape but the case was slightly damaged. I admit, I love this movie. However I did watch it BEFORE I had read all the books, so I might be a little bias. Personally I think that if they had taken the time to make this one movie into two, and even attempted to do the Vampire Lestat AND the Queen of the Damned some type of justice this would have totally taken the cake. However they didn't. So I say: If you haven't read any of Anne Rice's books you'll probably like this movie. The movie it self is better than any other "vampire" movie I've seen as of yet. It isn't equal to the books, though, what movie is? Again, my bloyfriend loves this movie. He loves the quailty, it was brand spankin' new. I also like it, I mean it was at a GREAT price so that's another reason to get it, RIP Aaliyah Lestat has slumbered for two ceturies, but the world above his tomb has changed from the colonial pretension of the 18th century to a more free and colourful world of new more revealing fashions, louder music, caring for the world's future and the hungry machine that is the media. I love this movie. Stuart is hot in this movie. The movie manages to deliver a surreal atmosphere charged with vampire like sensuality. A vampire love story. I couldn't stand the rating on this one. Had to set things straight. The title and cover picture can throw you. I didn't want to watch it to begin with until my kid told me about it. But I love "True Blood" too. I read the books long before it went to TV. If you are on the current bandwagon for Vampires, don't belive what these other ratings say about this movie. Check it out. Average Rating:![]() |

The U.S. vs. John LennonReviewsAfter reading the book John Lennon (The Life) by Philip Norman, which is great by the way, this DVD was a must have. Great visual insight into John Lennon and the U.S. Government. A good piece of history. Sad that Lennon's death manifested such a composite of misinformation. From Yoko Ono's scenario one would be led to believe that John Lennon's libido beat solely for her, but his song WOMAN belies her fantasy. He was a scoundrel; but then such is the price of fame juxtaposed his unique mindset. Geraldo Rivera didn't disappoint, always a fountain of misinformation that began with opening of Al Capone's privacy and followed into this contrivance of so-called truth. Rivera plays with Mrs. Lennon her chosen fantasy; that John Lennon was a dupe to the evil Jerry Rubin and Abby Hoffman. Hardly. Lennon was nobody's dupe. He was genius incarnate. The three together were a splendid package and very well threatened the good old U.S. of A. Crazy how Mrs. Lennon continues the motherly defense of her large economy son...but then such is surrogate mother's love. Get the movie, dream, and know what John Lennon did, brought forth the gun; so much for The United States' purported freedom of speech and all other freedoms. Side note: Rubin was mysteriously hit by a car and Hoffman was diagnosed with a drug overdose; both easy boondoggles. They were great men. Hope to hear from them again. One can kill the revolutionary, but one cannot kill the revolution. There is no question about the legacy that John Lennon has had on his success with The Beatles, but his solo success is just as strong today from the controversy and widespread dynamic appeal he had showed all throughout his solo years and the demands he felt against others trying to attack his views of the world. That was definitely shown in The U.S. VS. John Lennon, a reflection of his solo success, and the uphevil of the Richard Nixon era on demands that they wanted Lennon to be kicked out of America, in response to his appeal and cries against The Vietnam War. The documentary is gripping and shows the documents and clips of Lennon and his family, including his widow Yoko Ono, and others whom had witnessed the appeals and the case that Lennon had made about his demands to stay as a legal U.S. citizen, and the fear he had of being deported back to England. I thought it was very diverse, but I wish there could've been more. Still, if you've been a fan of John Lennon for all these years, and if you have not than this is a great reason to become one, and why John Lennon was such a beautiful boy. Price: B Extras: B Documentary: B 1/2+ Overall: B The item took a long time to receive, about over 3-4 weeks. But the video is in great condition and works well. Interesting, educative doco of John Lennon in the USA. Personally, I found much new info, watching. Average Rating:![]() |

Purple Rain (Two-Disc Special Edition)ReviewsI just watched this movie (more than 25 years after it premiered). The plot, acting, etc., are lame. This is a "movie" that only Prince fans would like. I'm not a fan nor do I dislike him, so I was somewhat of an objective audience and this really is a lame "movie." So what if it's semi-autobiographical, it's a lame semi-autobiographical "movie." It really is just an extended series of Prince Music Videos. Nothing more, nothing less. A timeless film. Story line is good, music is better, and Prince ranks among legendary guitarists such as Hendrix, Frampton, Clapton, and Santana, and proves that in this movie especially. A must see. This is Prince's signature movie, I'm a fan of all 3 of his mooveez but I have to b honest with myself and admit this is tha 1. I must have seen Purple Rain at least 30 times and I can recite every line. There's something about the energy of this film that just captivates u. I love the score and it's no wonder it won Prince an OSCAR. Woohoo! Purple Rain is is genious and the music is timeless. It's hard to believe there is actually a sequel "Graffiti Bridge", but who really knows that and who kares, right? Eye do! They r both great mooveez, Prince can of course do no wrong, he is tha best artist that ever lived. I have recently been in a Prince funk and watched all of his films over the last week, watching all of them at least 2 times each and they never get old, I can watch them a hundred more times. Thank u Prince for making wonderful entertainment 4 all of us 2 enjoy, u r "Tha King", Elvis ain't got s@#$ on u! This movie was a gift for my husband. We both love Prince, but agree his best work was done in the 1980s. This movie is awesome! Im a big fan of Prince...this movie just go with my other collector items that I have of him. I even married an Prince look-a-like, without the heels and make-up though...LOL Average Rating:![]() |

The African Queen [VHS]ReviewsThis BD version of "The African Queen" is quite astonishing. The picture is near perfect, and a great ad for BD. The film itself holds up very well, with wonderful performances from the stars. Should be on everyone's shelf. One of the very best movies ever... and great actress/actor. Just beautiful... and better in Blu-Ray! Classic film. Beautifully done. Bogie (in his lone Oscar winning role) and Hepburn at their best - along with John Huston. Doesn't get much better. Whenever I tell someone that I added this to my DVD collection - the comment is: "You didn't have it already?" I have to tell people that it only recently became available on DVD - so run - do not walk - to add The African Queen to yours. "The African Queen" is not a contemporary film. The look is not contemporary, the technology is not contemporary, the acting is not contemporary; just about everything screams antiquated. This is an old movie set in an even older place and time. Filming on location in Africa with early-fifties technology was absolutely grueling, and that's reflected in the look of the film. In some scenes, cinematographer Jack Cardiff's expertise shines through with an absolutely beautiful image that can take your breath away in 1080P. In other scenes, the limitations of the bulky cameras, limited film stock, and low lighting conditions are evident. This is not a reference Blu-Ray, but it is without a doubt the best this film has ever looked. It belongs in any serious cinemaphile's collection. Maybe the best movie ever made. Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart made me fall in love with that scrawny, scratchy-voiced, prissy, old-maidenly missionary's daughter. That's great acting. Romance, comedy, and action - all top notch. And leeches too. Average Rating:![]() |

Star Wars Trilogy (Special Edition) [VHS]ReviewsThis is a must buy for any Star Wars fan..."Original" or just a normal fan! The first disc to each episode is the digitally remastered version with all the gorgeous new backgrounds and all that good stuff! Although, all you Star Wars remastered haters the second disc or "Bonus Disc" has the ORIGINAL THEATRICAL version of the movie. I am 17 years old so I grew up with the Prequel Trilogy and never got to see the original version of the original trilogy. I am glad to have bought this set because I have the chance to watch the gorgeous remastered version but when my dad is itching to watch his version from when he was was a young-ling, just pop in the bonus disc and you see George Lucas original masterpiece! I love how Lucas put this set together and its a great deal for all you Star Wars fans of all ages... I was slightly disappointed that the Darth Vader box did not come as shown. Still a great product though! I grew up on Star Wars, having seen all of the original films in the theater when I was a child. In 1997 I was excited to hear Lucas was updating the trilogy with the "Special Editions" containing new footage and effects. Let's just say by the end of it all my opinion of the Special Editions soured and I don't wish to view those versions of these films again. Thankfully, the original 1977 - 1983 theatrical versions are included with this DVD box set. The format is not spectacular, being lower in resolution than the Special Edition trilogy included in the set, but at this point us Star Wars purists will take what we can get. These versions really stand the test of time. While George Lucas may disagree, I think the special effects hold up well and that the flaws only add to the charm. These films certainly feel more alive than the prequels as they were filmed using live actors against real sets. I don't want to get into a fit of Lucas bashing here, so I will just leave at, this is the definitive box set for any child of the 70's and early 80's. I really hope they release these versions on Blu-ray one day as well. Why why why? George had to mess with perfection. The originals were not as eye popping as todays' CGI films but quite well done special effects for that time. It felt more "real" than the overdone movies of today....don't get me wrong, I love a lot of today's great effects films but some do go overboard to the point where you feel like you are watching an almost animated film. For example, the Hulk movies where he is CGI look so unrealistic it ruins the action scenes completely. I don't feel the character is struggling or doing anything at all. I admire the actor who played the Thing in Fantastic Four for insisting on a suit rather than CGI, much more believable that he lost his human form to a mutation rather than an elaborate cartoon taking over his part. Well, I guess it seems hypocritical to worry about the realism of such movies that are so far from reality but that's what movies are supposed to do, make you believe in the unbelievable, even if for just two hours of your life. And that's the magic. So George, give the true fans a gift and put the originals on Blu ray! You might not make a "huge" profit but you will be saying thanks for the memories to the old fans in a very big way. star wars trilogy, came in on time and in the condition it was expected. Star Wars Trilogy [VHS]ReviewsThe original Star Wars trilogy will always stand in first place for my sci-fi loving heart, when it comes to classic, wonderfully told space adventure. The special effects were groundbreaking at the time, and today, are just as powerful, though we would do them differently now. The characters are multi-dimensional, and the story of good vs. evil is masterfully played out. For anyone who loves sci-fi, this needs to be at the top of the list. If I could give this series 6 stars I would. These films were an absolutely amazing breakthrough in cinematography. These movies, while slightly hokey by today's standards, have stood the test of time with amazing resilience. This version with the remastered sound but no change in the screenplay or visual effects is by far the best of all of Lucas' films. Unlike the new Star Wars movies (from the older stories)these original movies, before they were 'remastered', had true 'spirit' or 'heart' or whatever - they were REAL. The 'special effects' (damn good for that time, if u care) weren't what made the movies such awesome adventures. It was a combination of things - a yearning to live the impeccable warrior life of a Jedi, to battle a terrible evil empire, to avenge the deaths of friends, family & unknown innocents, to live in the beautiful forests of Endor with the strange, primitive creatures called 'Ewoks', to bravely enter into the unkown - if you do not understand, all I can say is what a pity. The pathetic attempts at humour found in the new movies were not in these original movies - they were not needed. When I was growing up, Star Wars, like Conan & Monkey Magic (the real life series not the cartoon), inpires me. Lots. The Star Wars Saga was a breakthrough in the science fiction movies. It is an imprtant series that should be learned, or at least mentioned, in cinema academies. However, it's not really a good movie. When the movies came out, the then breathtaking special effects had covered on its weaknesses. Today, when these effects are no longer unique, one can see more clearly the weaknesses of the series. The plot is generally OK though kind of weak and sometimes boring and pathetic, such as The Toy-Beaver like Alliens in "Return of the Jedi", at least, if you do something like that, after making millions in 2 movies- Get better costumes! The actors are pretty good, not great, but ok, and the general idea is good. Anyway, why 4 stars? Well, it is a classic, and as a breakthrougher it disorves some honor. It has some ideas that turned into cultural icons and even a religion, lately. The immortal Yoda (Though it could've been made better, I mean, what's with that muppet?) and of course, every-kid's-dream: The lightsavors. It is a nice movie, that is generally fun. It is a must see, as an important peice of cinematic history, but I guess it's just over-appriciated. Average Rating:![]() |

Star Wars Prequel TrilogyReviewsI was very happy with thiis DVD purchase & the very fast shipping! Once again, Amazon has surpassed my expections! Thank you Amazon. I purchased this for my Grandson and he watches them all the time, he even brings them with him when he spends the night so we can watch the movies, a must for Star War fans To present the six episodes is of course a challenge. I will not present them one after another in any order (historical or chronological). I will make a few general remarks. First, why did the last three episodes come first? It was necessary for the suspense to remain intense about the only important element which is that Dark Vader is the father of both Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa, both on the side of the rebellion against the Empire. These three episodes were more naturalistic and they did not need the special effects, not possible at the time, necessary for the conception and shooting of all the artificial and very strange creatures of the first three episodes. The happy ending would have been ruined by our knowing the genetic filiation between the two young heroes and the arch-enemy of freedom and democracy. Dark Vader had to be black and dark right to the end for the surprise effect of his fathering the two young heroes to be effective. Then the first three episodes arriving afterwards in time did not have the same function they can have today when we watch the six episodes in chronological order. They created a frame of reference. It is the demonstration that the Republic can only fall because it is totally engulfed in corruption, red tape bureaucracy, the incapability to take a fast decision and to act promptly, the constant waste of time because of political maneuvering. On the other side, that of evil, swift and surprise attacks and violence are the rule. The Republic has been infiltrated to the top and the Force itself embodied in the Jedi order has been drowned in bureaucratic impotence. Then the dark side of the Force can easily convince and capture those who are suffering from that impotence and are frustrated by the refusal to act straight away. It is also necessary to think that those first three episodes that came last needed a technology that was not available before and that is the technical justification of the inverted order, though then the director plays on it and with it. Some of the scenes of these three chronologically anterior films are absolutely breathtaking and only because they use the full array of computerized effects. The race in the first film is amazing, the underwater world is fascinating and the clones and their war against the strange giraffe human species is phenomenal and were not possible without the late 1990s and early 2000s technology. And the battles would never have been that impressive without these special effects. Then we can wonder about the meaning of the whole series back in chronological order. A Republic dies in red tape bureaucracy and corrupted calculation and is taken over from the inside by the main leader who is an infiltrated putsch maker and his military coup is based on the full destruction of the only protection the Republic had, the Jedi order though this one had been made impotent by the red-tape dictatorship of the democratic Republic. The Empire that takes over is based on effectiveness, swiftness and the absence of any waste of time due to useless discussions. To the point of any decision taken by one man. Then you can speak of efficiency. But that Empire that is going to impose an absolute one-person dictatorship is not able to control the grass roots movements and the local dynamisms of all the planets and peoples of this galaxy. That's what the rebellion against this Empire needs to be effective in its turn. Underground rebellion and resistance. Yet they cannot succeed if they do not re-conquer the Force because the Empire is founded on the dark side of that Force and is embodied in the father of the main heroes and leaders of the rebellion. The Force has to be re-learned by Luke Skywalker in order to be able to face his father and defeat the emperor who is manipulating Luke's father. This Force is the only real defense and conquering power of any resistance against any dictatorship. Without a Force of that magnitude no resistance can succeed. But then the meaning changed completely from that of the last three episodes that came first and could appear as a simple metaphor of the rebellion against a dictatorship, hence a metaphor of the defeat and disintegration of the Soviet Union for one. Later on when the first three episodes that came last were available, the meaning was no longer the same because history had changed in the mean time. The meaning then is that any democracy when it forgets it has to be fast and courageous in its decisions that should refuse red tape and bureaucracy will automatically fall in the hands of potential potentates or dictators. That is a common myth and political theme in the USA: the Roman Empire died after two centuries. Unluckily the Roman Empire was not the Republic of Rome and here Lucas is playing with our references. Are the USA a target of that decay of democracy? Yes indeed. That's the message today of this set of six beautiful films with great actors, even the perambulating carpet. Dr Jacques COULARDEAU, University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, University Paris 8 Saint Denis, University Paris 12 Créteil, CEGID I've always liked Star Wars; it may seem too juvenile for some hard core Sci Fi fans, but to me it's nice to have the classic battle between good and evil that most people can understand, relax, and enjoy. The extra scenes enhance the movie. It might have been good to have them in a metal boxed collectible format, but hey, I bought the movies for the movies, not the packaging. First of all I would just like to say that I love the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy. It all kicks major ass! The plot, the characters, the amazing special effects, it all reminds me of when I first saw A New Hope. The only weird thing was that the bonus feature disc for Episode III has the cover art: The Story of Star Wars, and not episode III. Nothing wrong with that, it still has all the features, it just seems very weir and confusing. Especially when that featurette isn't even featured on the disc! It was a promo at the beginning of the VHS version of Attack of the Clones. (I'm a geek). Average Rating:![]() |

James Garner and Gena Rowlands brings not only the realization of this to life in the movie The Note Book, but also shows what true love is really all about! Standing by the love of your life thru the best of times as well as through the hardest of times. Speaking for my self I can't imagine anything more terrible then to lose your own identity, forgetting your past as well as the present, forgetting your loved ones, but then for a short time regain flashes of memory, to know your spouse for a brief moment only,The Notebook (Limited Edition Gift Set) [Blu-ray] to lose that cherished memory again within moments. To forget your children, their names, to forget your true love and the life you've shared. Rachel Mc Adams and Ryan Gosling their performances were excellent as well! You could feel the love these characters had for each other, and you longed to see them reunite, which they finally do. Then sadly to be separated once more by such a sad illness towards the end of their days. But the ending was so touching so heartwarming. Just an incredible movie! I give it five stars, I'd given it ten if it were possible. Yours truly Garry E. Lewis Author of The Rileyville Mystery and Curse of the Devil's Wolf Strap. Excellent story.... I've seen this about a 3 or 4 times already and enjoyed it each time. Got this for my daughter and she loves it. One of the most beautiful, romantic movies ever made. The music, the scenery, the actors. Perfectly done. Romantic and moving, not cheesy. A must have. This is a great story; of course it isn't better than the book but I really recommend this DVD to everyone who enjoys seeing romance stories. I also recommend that you read 'The Notebook', 'Message in a Bottle', 'A Walk to Remember', and 'The Rescue' by Nicholas Sparks. Take my word, his books are awesome. I'm not going to talk more over here about the quality of the sound an image. Let's say it's over the average. The scenario is great, the actors are very good. This is a very great story of love and I think actually, we really need this kind of movie. I'm recommending it for all who have fed up with violence, computer graphic movie, plastic monster and stupid scenario. Average Rating:![]() |

Star Wars Molded Party RingsReviewsPut these on top of white swirly cupcakes and they were a hit with 3, 4, and 5 year old boys and girls! Think they would also look great on top of red icing! I used these for my 5 year old's star wars party. They were a hit with the kids and adults. I swirled frosting on the cupcakes, sprinkled some sugar crystals on and inserted the rings in the center. They looked great and I was asked if they were professional. The kids took the rings home as a party favor. Love them! Average Rating:![]() |

STAR WARS VS LUKE SKYWALKER DUEL CAKE KITReviewsBought this for my son's 5th birthday cake. Looked really cool atop his two tiered black cake. Just would be so much better if you could keep the sabers lit! My husband actually rigged them with a tiny wooden wedge stuck in to keep them on while we sang Happy Birthday. Not very bright, though, if you're having an outdoor party. Overall, made his cake awesome! I had to make a cake last minute for a friends son's birthday. I found this online & ordered. I then called the company & left a message about the urgency of the order as I needed it for that weekend. They left me a very nice message that day saying that they had shipped the item for me. Great service! The figures looked great on the cake & they lit up when the button on the back was pressed. I only wish that there was a way to keep them lit up during the 'grand presenation' of the cake. The mini-figures are great, as toys, after the party. Recieved what we in Jamaica call 'brawta',...a little extra, ie. our theme-colored balloons, cupcake sprinkles, and candles for the cake. Loved that!! Recieved them quickly...service can't be beat!!! Highly recommend! 5 year old birthday cake toppers- The kids loved the glow in the dark light sabers and actually slept with them. Unfortunately one broke off, but I guess that is to be expected if you are cuddling up to a light saber. For a cake decoration they are great, but they don't take the place of an action figure. HURRAY! Not only were these decorations amazing for our Toddler's cake, but about a week after the party since we cleaned and dried them I thought to let my Toddler play with them as toys. THAT is when I realized they freakin' light up when you push their backs! I don't remember reading the lightsabers lit up but...THEY DO! Average Rating:![]() |

Darth Vader Shaped 10 1/2in x 10 1/2in Pull String PinataReviewsThis Darth Vader pinata was a lot of fun. It looks great and holds up well when the kids take a swing at it! It could be a bit more durable around the hole where you insert candy... but that's pretty much it! Loved it! My son and his friends loved this! It definitely made the party. With that said, the pull strings DO open the trap door, but unless there is a secret art to stuffing the pinata that I don't know about, the candy will not fall out on its own. We ended up letting our birthday boy break the pinata open with a stick. It came apart into a mask and a helmet, which the children enjoyed taking turns wearing for the duration of the party. :-) $25 is a little pricey for this pinata, but it was a great finish for our Star Wars party. This pinata looks great and is very durable. In fact, too durable. When the trap door opened almost none of the candy came out - the door was too small. My husband and the kids ended up taking light sabers, baseball bats, and sticks to it anyway - turning it into more of a traditional pinata. Once all the candy came out the kids turned the pinata into a darth vader mask for the rest of the party - taking turns wearing it. It actually turned into a great pinata - I just would forget the pull string idea and just use it as a normal pinata! I was so excited to find this for my daughters "star wars" party. We used a toy lightsaber as a beating stick. The kids loved it, but it took forever to break. All 30 kids got a chance to hit it though, so it worked out well. We got this for our son's second birthday. It is well made and looks really cool. The only down side is I thought it would be bigger. Average Rating:![]() |

Star Trek Online TimecardReviewsI thought I'd be tricky and just download the game with the Del Taco trial and purchase this game card and be set to play. Nope. Still need to buy the full game. But its worth it, very fun game and I don't typically enjoy RPGs or MMORPGs. Time cards are excellent. I need to check this out but if you want to play without entering a credit card this is the way to do it. You dont need to add anything other then the timecard code and you are good to go! This isn't a review for the game. This is a review for the 60-day online timecard. The card was easy to use, just go to your Cryptic account at [...] and enter in the timecard's key number where you would normally put your Paypal or Credit Card information on the subscription page, make sure you select the the option for pre-paid timecard before you enter in the timecard's key or it will not work. Easy and quick. NOTE: The timecard is stackable meaning that if you just bought the game you will have 30 days play time already. You can enter in this kind of card at any point and it will ADD the 60 days to whatever remaining time you have on the account. So if you had 15 days left over from the retail copy of the game or another timecard it would add 60 days to that making it 75 days of play time remaining. It does not cancel out or make you lose already paid for time so add the cards whenever you like. I prefer to do this right away so I don't lose them. Average Rating:![]() |

As of 2008, the overall box office revenue generated by the six Star Wars films has totalled approximately $4.3 billion, making it the third-highest grossing film series.
The franchise has spawned other media including books, television series, video games, and comic books. These supplements to the film trilogies comprise the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and have resulted in significant development of the series' fictional universe. These media kept the franchise going in the interim between the film trilogies. In 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released to theaters as the first ever worldwide theatrical Star Wars film outside of the main trilogies. It was the franchise's first animated film, and was intended as an introduction to the Expanded Universe series of the same name, a 3D CGI animated series based on a 2003 animated 2D series, also of the same name.
