I owned a Hoover Floormate many years ago; but when I moved it did not come with me. Loved it and missed it. I believed that it was no longer being made. In checking google, lo and behold found it alive and well. ordered one asap and love it love it love it.

I love the smell of this product and the way it - and my FloorMate - clean my floors! About once a month I use the Floor Mate with little or no solution to remove any residue build-up, but WITH the cleaner my floors always look great and even my dingy grout is getting cleaner after every wash! It doesn't remove set-in bad stains in the grout but it has lightened them...my grout is badly stained and I'm told probably nothing will clean it completely (this works better than even soft scrub and murriatic acid have worked in the past).

Last year I obsessed about cleaning my tile. It turned out that it wasn't the tile that was dirty, it was the grout! After researching everything I could get my hands on, questioning all my friends and neighbors, I tried everything that was recommended. Most took lots of scrubbing or they just didn't work. I wanted something that worked, didn't stink, and didn't leave dangerous chemicals that might harm my pet. This one does take a little scrubbing, but works really well. I haven't found anything I like better.

Used as directed with FloorMate. Also used directly on grout with a brush. Used it full strength, used it diluted. Even let it stay on grout for about 15 minutes. No one of those methods did anything!! Save your money. You'll get as good results using almost anything else. Perhaps most disappointing product I've used in 10 years.

I purchased this grout cleaner after trying several products to get crayon out of the grout on my kitchen floor (my 2 year old decided to color the floor when I wasn't looking) and of course, I had to get on my hands and knees with a brush, but with warm water and this product the crayon came out! I was disappointed when Wal-Mart decided not to carry this product anymore. I have been looking around for it but haven't found it at all, the price I originally purchased it for around $4.89. It's a great product and well worth the price, when you consider it restores your grout to looking like "new" again.

This is a very nice fire pit table and fits perfectly on my deck that otherwise has very little room. Works well and is very durable. The stone table surface is attractive, yet rustic.

This was a gift for my brother-in-law. He loves it; it looks better than in picture.

My husband and I purchased this as a Christmas present for his parents. They absolutely love it! It looks even better in person than in the picture, and is really easy to assemble. Now my husband and I will probably get one when we have room!

This was just as nice as the previous reviews indicated. Assembly was quick, quality was great for the price. A beautiful addition to our patio. I am pleased with my purchase.

Great product, easy to put together, works great for small group, good value for the money. I've seen this same product higher priced most places so this was worth it!

Granite & Marble Spray, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) Granite & Marble Spray, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

This product has made me love my granite again. No film, great, clean fresh smell too. It came really fast.

I was worried because some of the other reviewers complained of the scent. Well, this stuff smells great! And the scent does not linger for more than a minute or two. It's not easy finding all-natural cleaners that smell great. We've tried so many cleaners on our dark granite, and all of them have left some streaks (including this one). But this cleaner leaves the least. We wipe with a dry microfiber towel and the counters look and smell great. The few streaks that remain can easily be buffed away with a second towel.

After reading about granite counter top care and cleaning I came across this product. I tried it in our home and was very pleased with: 1. Cleaning ability: with a simple towel it can remove items (read old crusty food) from the counter tops. 2. Shine: there is an initial shine that is beautiful-- keep in mind though the shine goes away but granite has great reflective properties so once it is clean it looks sharp 3. Smell: it's a strong pleasant smell. Since it's just a cleaner there isn't much more I can say. It would be five stars if the initial shine remained. But still very recommended especially given it's promise of non harmful, natural ingredients.

This stuff works well. I like the size and shape of the spray bottle. My one complaint is that is a bit too heavily scented.

Excellent granite counter cleaner for daily use. Good value especially when bought in bulk.

Chronos is a mesmering visual experience. I first saw it at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and was happy when it came out on DVD. The music is haunting and merges with your brain wave pattern and the visual aspects are fascinating. The primus is life out of balance. It is now in blue ray but was not when I first saw it.

5 Star Chronos New age IMAX still cutting edge today. 3 Star Baraka Too weird to handle. This is the same review I'm combining for the comparison of both Chronos and Baraka. CHRONOS & BARAKA These programs are visual displays of majestic landmarks, people, cultures, and wonders of the world. If you want to watch TV, but don't feel like watching TV, these are the way to go. No thinking, no storyline, just relax and let your imagination go. It's a revolutionary new age type of artistic display. They can be watched repeatedly without boredom, like a music CD. DIGITAL PICTURE QUALITY All the negative rap I read about regarding picture quality of the CHRONOS blu ray transfer held me back from purchasing. But recently, I took a leap of faith upgrading my old dvd copy, and whala! I was absolutely amazed at the stunning BD picture quality! Full 1080p high def detail. Sure, there are a few jitters and artifacts, but nothing like the bad taste others had elaborated on. Perhaps the reviewers were spoiled with the Baraka standard, which any BD transfer will pale to. But Chronos is definitely acceptable, and considering this IMAX is 3 decades old, this blu ray is a huge improvement and well worth the upgrade from dvd. BARAKA As far as the content of Baraka, the major problem I have are those bizarre African tribe ritual scenes. Not that there's anything wrong with this, but I'd much rather see this in a documentary, with a narrator describing this cultural meaning. Ie, teach me. OK, I see the point of Baraka is appreciation of art, but without the explanation, these weird clips leave me in a state of mysterious void of confusion. Perhaps Baraka should have a 2nd audio channel or subtitle. Same goes with the shots of the homeless and inner city trash: BORING, and disgusting. Homeless people and trash on 1080p is not art. ART Chronos is Baraka minus the weird tribal rituals. Chronos is 100% sheer art in its original Ron Flicke form. Every scene, second, and breath has power, deep thoughts and emotions attached to it, can be watch numerously, anytime. Chronos blu ray also includes 3 invaluable features not on Baraka. 1) Global location pop up, 2) Annotations pop up of detailed features of each location, and 3) Director's audio commentary. I give Chronos blu ray 5 star, and Baraka blu ray 3 stars.

I bought this on HD-DVD based on the strength of others' reviews. I have to say...I'm a little disappointed (but not too much). The time lapse photography is breathtaking at times, the accompanying music is well matched. However, it has been approximately 25 years since this was made, and the visuals that were unbelievable in the 80s are far more commonplace today. The clarity is perfectly suited for 1080p HD, as is the rich soundtrack. Chronos provides great background visuals and music for a more formal dinner party of get together; it's not particularly fitting for "let's go watch Chronos!" As background or filler, it's great. As the main feature, it's a little slow and uninspiring for me.

It's a movie I should be watching to do a Humanities project on. It goes through time staring at different scenes and crazy music,it has no real point. It's a perfect movie if your not in your right mind and your into that sort of thing.=)

While Baraka on BD is astounding, a must-have, the quality of the BD transfer seems little better than DVD. Obviously the same care that went into the Baraka transfer was not taken with this title. Price not withstanding, the BD version should have been so much better. If you already have the DVD, I wouldn't bother upgrading. If you already have Baraka on BD, I would not recommend buying this title on BD. It's going to disappoint. If the transfer had been better, this would have been a good buy. The content is not bad. Bottom line: Skip this one and buy Baraka on BD.

Marbles Marbles

Reviews

Probably this is the best Marillion album since Brave, but if you want the full experience of marbles, better buy the 2-cd english version exclusive form racket records web site. That 2 cd box has an extraordinary design, and a track that is not an extra, with "Neverland" is the core of the album, the song is called "Ocean Cloud", it takes about 17 min and is the final track of the first CD, and extraordinary and beautiful musical landscape. Get it from racket now.

I've owned a couple of early Marillion releases for quite some time. Most notably SFAJT and Fugazi. Both are outstanding albums. However, I never really listened much after Fish left the band. Actually, I haven't heard any of Hogarth's stuff until I listened to this album. Well, I was actually pleasently suprised by this album. Invisible Man started out kind of slow, not really a problem, but then it just kicked it up about 10 notches to the finale. Now, I know a lot of die hard marillion fans are going to hate me for this .. but .. I don't think I ever heard this kind of emotion come out of Fish. The entire album just reeks of soul. Pure emotion .. Now, that's not to say I think Fish's stuff wasn't good .. Actually, it was great. I just think Hogarth shows a hell of a lot more emtotion, especially in this album. Besides "The Invisible Man", which may be the only pure-prog track on this album, other highlists include "Ocean Cloud" despite the apparent Pink Floyd rip-off in the middle. It features some pretty powerful drumming and some cool bass lines near the end. Now onto Neverland, probably my favorite track on the album. This is one of the greatest album closers I have ever heard. It's definately up there with "heart of the sunrise", "Evil Karn 9", "Supper's Ready". Not really in terms of technical ability and whatnot .. However, it just closes the album on a perfect note. This is the emtoion I am talking about. It's absolutely brilliant. Great, great bass lines thrown in here too. In short, this is a very well done album. Not REALLY prog. Again, this is quasi-prog. If you're a diehard straightfoward PROGRESSIVE fan: You might want to stay away. However, if you're pretty open about your music and don't mind the emtional stuff over the technical stuff, then this album is for you! It's not great, but it's very pleasing on the ears.

This is a revision to the review I submitted on June 23rd. At that time I had listened to 'Marbles' three times and felt that was ample spins to rate and review the album...Well I spoke too soon. This release has more to it than I originally gave credit. What changed my mind you ask?...simple answer...watching the DVD 'Marbles on the Road'(extended 2 DVD set). Something about visually seeing the music of Marbles made me see/hear some beautiful music that I failed to get from the Audio CD...now I hear something I like in most of the tunes(even the 4 marble theme songs). Fantastic Place is, without a doubt, my favorite song...the chorus going into "Take me to the Island" part is the stuff (the "hooks" I spoke of in first review) that makes the hairs stand up...very moving! So I am bumping the 3 star rating to at least 4 stars and may eventually revise it to a higher rating after further listens/viewings. For anyone who hasn't seen the accompyning DVD of Marbles, I would STRONGLY recommend it...just make sure you get the extended version (available only from Marillion's website) as it includes the rest of the show...most notably 'Afraid of Sunlight','King' and 'The Great Escape'.

This is a eclectic collection of synchronizing harmony. "The Damage" happens to be one of my favs of this CD, "Don't Hurt Yourself" gives a glimpse of why we all need to appreciate the small things in life. Marillion has been and will always be innovative demi-gods in an often mundane industry. Those who are not familar with Marillion are truly missing out.

Ever since the days of Derek Dick aka Fish back in the 80's, Marillion while under the influence of Steve Hogarth aka H, not to mention Fish's replacement, has taken Marillion and their legion of fans on an adventure ever since. Since the conceptual masterpiece which was to become Brave 10 years earlier, the band have returned for which is perhaps their finest work since that very album. Afraid Of Sunlight was fantastic, This Strange Engine of 1997 also was very good, Radiation from 1998 was interesting and perhaps their weakest link. Marillion.com which was to be released a year later was a slight improvement over Radiation yet still didn't seem to capture the spirit of Marillion to it's entirety. Anoraknophobia which came out 2-3 years later was even more of an improvement yet again. That was a step in the right direction to what was to become the concept of MARBLES!!! Now the ironic thing is that this album was financed by many of their fans. The fans wanted an album so vadly that they decided to donate funds for the band. So the band simply didn't want to let their fans down especially as it wasn't their money. And hey hey my my did they deliver. Marbles is truly a album of sheer beauty. I'll be reviewing the 2 CD Campaign Edition which is only available at their website www.marillion.com. Every song on this album stands out. There is not even a weak song at all. Notable favourites include The Invisible Man, Fantastic Place, Ocean Cloud, Don't Hurt Yourself, You're Gone (which hit the UK Top 10 at #7 much to their surprise), Angelina and Neverland. Each member of the band plays their hearts out. They really did not let their fans down including myself. On the Campaign Edition set each of the fans that donated to the production of Marbles were included in the booklet. Kind of something like on the Lord Of The Rings Extended Editions where the LOTR fan club members names were listed at the end of the credits. Now if ever you get the chance, go get the DVD Marbles On The Road. You get to see them perform the album live though it's only the 1CD version. You really get to appreciate the album more in it's live environment. I found it to be very moving. Marbles is by far one of their finest works since Brave and I do find that it's going to be very hard to top that. I look forward to another album for Marillion even if I need to donate something towards production.

Marble Index Marble Index

Reviews

Taking in to account that a cd mostly made over 40 years ago continues to draw the strongest attraction from us, "The Marble Index" most likely should be called a classic. However, while listening to this works, encoutering the subtlety and force of Nico's voice and the richness of her compositions, the variety in sounds and atmospheres created, one is convinced that such an adjective would not serve propperly to this complex cd. If it were a classic, today's music should offer us a completely different outlook. "The Marble Index" remains a ouvre of the margins, an obscure work still waiting to be thoroughly listened at. Let us.

I'm glad someone (gregor von Kallahann) commented on the difference between the LP version and the CD with the 2 songs added at the end. I bought the lp when it first came out so it was only after many years that I heard the CD version. This is the only time when I have been astounded by bonus tracks. The reviewer is correct that the album has a totally different effect ending with Evening of Light or with Roses in the Snow and Nibelungen. The first time I heard them it was like a vision beyond Time and the grave. As for the sonic differences, the CD is actually not terrible compared to the vinyl. Although the vinyl is clearly superior it was not a great recording to begin with. And sadly the master tape is apparently in poor condition so it would have to be reconstructed from session tapes if those still exist or first generation copies.

As a human being, Nico was a beautiful enigma--much like Oscar Wilde, she reserved her art for the living of her life. As an artist, she's simply a beautiful amateur trying to disguise her lack of musical talent underneath a chic veneer of avant-garde cliches and cool but hopelessly inept New York anti-intellectualism. The Marble Index does, however, contain Nico's best song, the stark, forbidding "Frozen Warnings." Too bad the rest of Nico's work was never up to this standard.

nico was the haunted soul of germany. listen to krautrock, from michael rother's feuerland to frank duval's give me your love. or amon düül II's face. thank god there where brian and andy. it's one of the best when rarely is not the best of the 60's. it's very reflective, not hippie at all. greatfull dead is a christmas cake against it. very meaningfull anti-trend. like just announcement for further things to come.

What can you compare this to? Nico's melodic vocals, with a slight vibrato, set to discordant arrangements, courtesy of her harmonium and John Cale's arrangements are very different, very unique, but not quite perfect. The conscious effort to make this release sound different than Nico's first release, Chelsea Girls, succeeds with one misstep: Facing The Wind, which is drowned with a sort of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" vocal effect that is totally distracting. Regardless, this is a satisfying listen. The best in this vein was still to come with Nico's next release, Desert Shore.

Average Rating:

Like a bolt from heaven, Nico cast off the understated pace of her work as chanteuse of the Velvet Underground -- and the heavily orchestrated folk-rock of her solo debut, Chelsea Girl -- for the relentlessly bleak and cobalt-blue cool avant-garde stylings of The Marble Index...

Pat & Mike [VHS] Pat & Mike [VHS]

Reviews

I've seen eight of the nine Hepburn-Tracy movies & Pat & Mike makes the first bracket, as do all the comedies. The least of them is better than any of the dramas the two stars did. Cherce. Pat is an all-seasons atheletically gifted amateur. Mike is a slightly bent promoter who sees her as his meal ticket. She really doesn't do the cause of women any favors in this one. She's totally flustered & befuddled with her boyfriend, which is part of the plot & listens to & obviously has great affection for Mike. Light but not bad. There are also cameos of golfers & tennis pros of the era.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. For one thing, it is laugh-out-loud funny in its own special way. A lot of the humor derives from the characters themselves, who are innately funny without being aware that they are. For example, Spencer Tracy's character Mike. He manages athletes. He clearly came up from the streets of New York, and his New York slang is endearing, original, and hilarious. He is sui generis, what you see is what you get, and his sudden partnership with the blue-blooded Katharine Hepburn turns the humor up a notch, as he clumsily approaches this beautiful graceful, elegant female athlete from another world, somehow sure enough in his ability that is willing to do what it takes to bridge the gap. Tracy (Mike) sees Hepburn (Pat) play in a professional tennis tournament. He is so blown away by her ability that he approaches her to offer to be her manager. He is shy and tentative, first because she is so beautiful and elegant, and also because he is aware that they come from different worlds. Mind you, it is clear Mike feels inferior to nobody and that he is his own man. So Mike starts to chat her up in his New York-ese, avidly chewing gum, both hands in the pockets of his navy pinstriped suit, fedora perched on the back of his head. Showing his own touch of class, Tracy does not let on in any way that he finds Hepburn attractive. Just that he is wowed by her ability. (Interestingly, Mike keeps a poker face about his romantic feelings throughout most of the movie. He reveals tenderness and love at first in the sweetest scene--she is asleep and he covers her with a blanket.) After Hepburn agrees to have him manage her, they go out for a celebratory dinner. Tracy orders scotch on the rocks, steak, baked potato with butter, and apple pie a la mode. Hepburn orders the same. Tracy shakes his head. He tells the waiter that the lady will have broiled fish with salad, no dressing. Hepburn protests indignantly. Tracy becomes firm and adamant. He tells Hepburn that she has to listen to him or no deal. He says he has a stable of successful clients, all of whom adhere to his strict training regimen. He mentions "Little Nell" as one of his most successful clients. Beaming with pride, he opens his wallet to show Hepbrn a picture of his pride and joy. As it turns out, Rosie is a thoroughbred mare. The humor and wit do not abate throughout the whole movie, with Hepburn and Tracy complementing each other as smoothly and intimately as yang and yin. I have seen this movie lots of times, and each time it brings me joy.

Katharine Hepburn has said this deceptively casual 1952 comedy is her favorite of the nine onscreen pairings with longtime partner Spencer Tracy, and one can see why as the film takes advantage of her natural athletic prowess. Directed by the redoubtable George Cukor and written by the husband-and-wife team of Garson Kanin and Ruth Gordon (Adam's Rib), this is not so much a rollicking screwball farce as a sly opposites-attract love story set in a world pitched between professional sports and the street-slang and pinstripe suits of Damon Runyon. It's not a complicated plot. Mike Conovan is a dem-and-dose sports promoter who already manages a punch-drunk fighter named Davie Hucko. On a country club golf course, he sees a great golfing talent in Pat Pemberton, a college physical-education instructor who turns out to be accomplished in a number of sports including sharp-shooting and tennis. Mike immediately sees the financial possibilities of promoting a "lady athlete", and a mutual attraction develops. However, he also discovers Pat's one major Achilles' heel - her self-doubt is such that she cannot perform to her world-class standards under the patronizing eye of her selfish fiancée Collier. Naturally, this impediment gives rise to the movie's funniest sight gags, including a particularly hilarious tennis match with real pro Gussie Moran where Pat's tennis racket gets smaller, Moran's gets larger, and the net grows higher. The rest of the film consists of scenes highlighting Pat's ascending trajectory as a pro star, and consequently, the fortyish Hepburn's impressive physical talent facing off with the likes of Olympic champion Babe Didrickson Zaharias in a pro golf tournament. The Tracy-Hepburn team shows a genuine rhythm to their banter here, and Tracy seems to be having fun playing a street-savvy huckster. I find it amusing how Hepburn's character - with her crisp New England-based diction - is supposed to be from Oakland. Aldo Ray makes a memorable impression as Davie, while a young Charles Bronson can be seen as one of the hoods subject to Pat's masterful judo moves. There are no extras offered with the 2000 DVD.

This is a disarming little movie about a woman athlete and her coach. It is a somewhat romantic comedy but it is more about developing a female athlete and coaching her to be a winner. Katherine Hepburn was apparently a terrific athlete and Garson and Kanin wrote their screenplay around her. It is not a raccuous or exaggerated romantic comedy like Adam's Rib or even Woman of the Year. It is much smaller but very charming. Take it for what it is and don't expect it to be like the other films. This is not what Pat and Mike are about.

PAT & MIKE is an inspiring look at the relationship between a gifted athlete (Katherine Hepburn) and her coach (Spencer Tracy), determined to get her back on her game. Pat's fiancee, Collier Weld (William Ching) is the one setback that keeps her from really excelling at the sports she pursues. Everytime she sees him in the crowd, she fails miserably at anything she is attempting to do (be it serve a tennis ball, or shoot a golfball). I am sure you can imagine the twist of fate that occurs while under the tuttelage of Mike, who believes that they have a truly equal partnership, in his words, "5-0, 5-0." Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn's chemistry is going strong, as they trade clever banter and we watch the evolution of a beautiful relationship. This film is especially progressive for the time that it was released (the 1950s).

Average Rating:

Kate plays Pat Pemberton, a college physical education teacher who excels at just about every sport there is. She's also a great athletic competitor, except when her overbearing, worrywart fiancé, Collier Weld, is around...

Gee I had trouble finding this film as it was released in the 80's here in Australia under the California Dolls title. I like this movie a lot and Peter Falk gives one of his best performances as a wrestling promoter for women wrestlers, fun film for all ages. Highly recommended.

I have been looking for this movie for years. It's about time it made it to DVD. It's a great movie.

A great movie. I enjoyed it when it came out. I had it on VHS, but do not have a player. So I bought in on Dvd, so I can enjoy the movie again ith my family.

"...All the Marbles" for about the first two-thirds is a standard sports flick with most cliches intact. Even Peter Falk who normally elevates even the most mundane material gives an OK performance as the promoter of two gorgeous lady wrestlers. The film redeems itself immeasurably in the end with the showdown at the MGM Grand between Falk's Dolls and their chief rivals. It's a thrill-a-minute affair that's neatly choreographed that'll have you on the edge of your seat. Director Robert Aldrich's final film requires patience and you'll be rewarded in the end.

Seinfeld - Season 7 Seinfeld - Season 7

Reviews

There's nothing dated about this classic sitcom, which defined the early '90s TV comedy as Jerry and his buddies traipsed through New York life and its various little adventures. As the creators promised, Seinfeld is indeed largely "a show about nothing." That said, it's often the little daily annoyances, ups and downs that make for the most entertaining stories in our own lives, and it certainly held true for Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer. Particularly memorable episodes include the two-part "The Bottle Deposit," where Kramer and Newman scheme a plot to make money by cashing in their soda bottles in Michigan, a deranged mechanic (played by Brad Garrett) makes off with Jerry's car, and Elaine struggles to recapture the John F. Kennedy Jr. golf clubs she's supposed to get to her boss but seems to have left in the stolen car. There's also the infamous "Soup Nazi" episode, which spawned the classic "No soup for you!" line, as the soup store chef belligerently denied any patrons he deemed unworthy of his art. Like all the other season box sets, Season 7 includes loads of bonus material, such as deleted scenes, inside looks and cast commentaries. Even decades later, the humor of this smart show holds up, perhaps even stronger than ever.

The product came before it was scheduled to and in great condition. Really wonderful condition. Would recommend this product and company!

Of the six episodes on disc 1 of season 7, FIVE ARE CLASSICS with Kramer at his ABSOLUTE funniest. Throw in Rabbi Glickman, cafe latte, Kramer's take on marriage, Jackie Chiles, the Maestro and the Soup Nazi and you just might not watch the other 3 discs of this season. Larry and Jerry reached the apex of TV comedy with this collection of season 7 antics.

I gave the DVD five stars, as the show is great, there is perhaps nothing I can add to the previous reviews. However, take note that Amazon has been sending me "new" DVDs that appear clearly used, with the packaging completely damaged. I recommend the whole series to everyone, just do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere, or pay half price to get a used item sold as used. The first time (another Seinfeld DVD) the packaging looked only slightly damaged. Perhaps someone dropped it once before packaging, I thought. This time, however, the box that contains the four discs was torn along one of the edges, and all corners of it were damaged. It looks like someone played soccer with it for a while. It is a shame that Amazon sells discs in such condition. Note that once you take the DVDs out of their plastic wrap (I had to before I could see the box is torn), you can get back at most fifty percent of the original price, making it worthless to return.

I do not know of a funnier show than Seinfeld. I laugh out lout several times during each episode. No other show I know can make me do that. Is it about nothing? I think not. To be sure, it is a light show, in an entertainment sense. Yet, serious issues occur in the show, such as gender roles, common prejudices ("not that there is anything wrong with that!"), and, of course, the three-letter word that is on most adult's minds most of the time. That said, you should watch it for the humor.

Reviews

The item was not what I thought it was, however, the merchant was extremely helpful in letting me return the DVD. They were understanding and service was very prompt. Hats off to this merchant.

Three of the great Tracy/Hepburn films in excellent condition...Great! Only one small complaint: The DVDs are encased in the old, hard-to-store "snap" cases...would have preferred the keep cases.

I bought this collection a (few?) years ago. If you are a Hepburn/Tracy fan you won't be disappointed with any of these movies. I have watched them many times over and still enjoy them.

The Hepburn and Tracy collection is an excellent package for those that can appreciate the classical romance and drama movies from an era gone by.The passion and charisma between Tracy and Hepburn cannot be replicated by the stars of today. It is a real steal for those that love the cinema, the student of the cinema or just for anyone who wants to remember when picture making was an art form.

When I first got my package with the TrackMan Marble mouse inside, my first impression was that it looked MUCH bigger than it did here on Amazon. The whole reason I wanted to buy the TrackMan Wheel instead was the fact that its picture on Amazon made it look bigger, and that's what I was after. However, I found a review that compared the two Trackman's on YouTube which showed that the Marble is actually just as big as the Wheel. The colors aren't the same as those in the Amazon picture, check the customer images to find the right picture for it. It actually comes in attractive dark gray that suits a black keyboard and makes your computer look more modern. I got used to it in less than 24 hours, the scrolling isn't an issue at all. I am using Linux, the four buttons worked right out of the books. However, getting the scroll function - clicking on one of the small buttons and moving the trackball to scroll - to work took a while, but there's an Ubuntu community guide that clearly explains how to get it working - the Xorg config is messy, a script with the maps that's inserted into xinitrc works great. It doesn't feel cheap at all, the clicks feel right, and the ball feels wonderful. The laser warning did get me scared though. I didn't know it used laser to detect the trackball movement, I had the impression that they used the usual optical LED/CMOS combination. You can actually use your whole middle finger for right clicks. The buttons are big enough so that you can reach them with your thumb and ring finger without having to move your hand. It's pretty accurate, and works relatively well. The only complaint that I have is that it's slower than an ordinary mouse, but I can increase the pointer speed anytime I want. You will be comfortable using it in less than an hour, and you will get used to it within a day or so. I still haven't tried drawing anything in the GIMP (free Photoshop) with it, but I don't think it's going to be that bad. Pros: 1- A big mouse. 2- Pretty accurate. 3- Doesn't feel cheap. 4- Looks great - almost as if it's alien technology. 5- Cheap. Cons: 1- A big mouse? 2- You may need two fingers to move the trackball well if you're nervous or if your hand is shaking. 3- The laser warning discourages you from opening it to see how it works. 4- The package only mentions hand support and comfort. There's no real mention of ergonomics. It's a great mouse, is big, and my wrist pain has decreased. Let's wait and see how it will feel like after a month or two from now.

I absolutel love this mouse. It beats chasing a mouse all over the top of your desk or mouse pad. Great mouse at a great price.

I was getting stiff fingers on my other mouse so this was recommend to me. I find the mouse big, but it has provided some comfort and my hands don't get as stiff.

I now have five of these. They are very reliable, the ball is just the right size - and most important for me - they are symmetric and work well for both right and left-handers

I have read complaints about the Trackman Marble not having a scrolling feature, so just want to say that I just bought an installed the Trackman marble today and downloaded the latest version of Setpoint software (v6.15). Setpoint now supports scrolling by setting the trackball to function as a scroll wheel in "Universal scroll" mode. You do not have to hold down any small button to scroll so it is easy to use with no effort. I urge those who already have the Marble and wants a scrolling feature to try it out. Great job Logitech!

I bought this in late 2008. I only use it specifically for one game. Setpoint software and latest driver is definitely needed to use the full abilities of this mouse as just connecting it Windows XP would not recognize it for some reason. The Setpoint software will also allow you to customize the buttons and speeds to your own personal preferences. Reading the review that mentioned universal scroll that is a feature I did not know existed for this mouse in the latest software and driver as of this review. After trying out the universal scroll I'd say it definitely improves the use of this mouse. I have the universal scroll setting at maximum because at medium it does not scroll fast enough in a browser. I still find the scrolling to slow even at maximum compared to a mouse wheel it also requires larger movements than just using a scroll wheel. I do have rather large screen real estate and testing it at 1920x1080 so that could a reason it does not feel fast enough when using the unversal scroll, the regular mouse pointer function works great and is speedy. It's probably better than using a thumbpad for laptop users. Using a pinky finger to simply activate and deactivate the scrolling feature is how mine is programmed. I cannot get the universal scroll to work in a game even with "game detection" settings active for those that it concerns. Using a trackball does take some getting use to as some things like holding multiple buttons to rotate a camera and zoom in at the same time feels better with a gripping a mouse but that is just a matter of getting use to the freedom and comes with time. I have this mouse paired with a Razer Left Handed edition DeathAdder and there are no hardware conflicts as I keep the Logitech software at "OS settings" in it's control panel. If this is your only mouse than you can probably chose use "setpoint implementation" as it overides any mouse on your system. Having 4 programmable buttons is nice and using this trackball you will use the edges of your center fingertips instead of the thumb it's and the mouses shape is comfortable. 4 Stars really because the quality trackball market is a bit small and despite it's shortcoming in menu scrolling in game I bought with full knowledge of that missing feature. Good for the average use and web browsing. There is another version but this is the page for the one I bought. Here is the newer currently available one Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse

I've been using this mouse for the last 3-4 years, because they really are the only reasonably priced trackball mice with optimum placement for minimum movement of fingers/hand. Unfortunately, every year the quality of these seems to get worse and they simply get worn out. Yes, I end up cleaning them weekly or monthly but they never get back to their new state. Still looking for a high quality version of these that will stand up to time.

I have tried several types of mice over the years and this is by far the best. Zooming back and forth across the screen is a breeze and the back/forward buttons are perfectly situated for surfing. The first one I bought over 7 years ago is still going strong with no problems and I haven't had one issue with the other 4 I own. If all tech products were designed and built like the Marble Mouse, a lot of us IT workers would be out of a job.

I am an analyst and I only use Logitech trackballs. Decided to try this one. Almost impossible to scroll comfortably. I have very small hands and still find it awkward. To doubleclick you have to use one of the side buttons because there isn't a scrolling wheel. I am sure it would work fine for someone who is an occasional computer user. But if you are working long hours with Access and Excel don't even think about this mouse. Have gone back to my wireless Logitech 7-button mouse. Just wanted a trackball that was corded.

Some context. I spent the last 10 years using Thinkpads with the pointing stick in they keyboard. I seriously considered not buying anything but a Thinkpad (there are other reasons), but I wanted a portable gaming rig and landed on a Dell M17x. I hated the touchpad, so I needed a pointing device. The mouse is very comfortable and sold feeling. I have largeish hands and I can get to the main keys and the ball easily enough. The have only found two issues. The ball can get a bit sticky on my fingers which manifests itself in pointer movement when I take my finger off the ball. It's not normally a problem except when I am doing detailed graphics work. The other issue is that the left mini button is easy to get to and functions as a "back" button which is really handy. The right mini button serves as a middle button, but since it is located at the top of the right side, I have a very, very hard time to reaching it with my index, ring, or pinking finger. It is almost unusable. There also seems to be a driver requirement that simulates the third mouse button--it doesn't work in games or in VMware. I am happy with the mouse, but not that excited. Frankly, I don't think I would be happy with any mouse other than a pointy stick.

Been eating Halvah for 64 years now and this is the worst thing I have ever tasted that is called Halvah. Dry, crumbly, falls apart and tastes like ground up cardboard.

I live in the USA now but grew up in Canada. We used to buy the Camel brand in small cans in Canada. So I was so excited to find these on amazon. They tasted great and were in perfect sized portions and every bit as good as I remembered. I also thought the price was AWESOME as it included shipping. I even bought some and sent it to my sister

Halvah has diverse meanings. In India,it's a pumpkin pudding. In Africa,it's often a cornmeal-based porridge. In the Middle East, halvah can be a candy bar or like cotton candy. Camel Halvah Bars are like conventional candy bars... with a twist. It has the gooey chocolate, but it's also got a rich sesame flavor. It's slightly dry. Each bite is quite rich and delicious. It's also kind of chewy. Camel Halvah Bars are good, organic candy with a Middle Eastern twist!

These are pretty good. I've previously had the Joyva ones. These are not as sweet, which may be a good thing!

I am glad Amazon has these, they are the best. And a good price. I initially didn't want a whole box, but they sure went fast!

I guess I was expecting it to taste more like the deli halvah I had as a child. It is pretty good, but kind of pasty.

This is a game that can be played by the whole family - in one sitting or as an ongoing game. Sort of like a puzzle, you keep coming back till you get it. Kids and adults can play together & it enhances the powers of observation.

Fabulous addition to the world of Sudoku puzzles. The color variation on a classic Japanese game is a wonderful addition. The color patterns make puzzle solutions more obvious to left brain individuals. Yeah, to the one who thought up this variation! Smart move!

This board game provides entertainment for individuals as well as small groups. It also teaches children the need to look at things in a logical way. The colors gives the player a different perspective than the normal number sudoku puzzles. I would recommend this for use in a school setting.

If you like Sudoku you will most likely like this game as well. Even if you are not a big fan of Sudoku you might enjoy this as well. For some seeing colors is easier than numbers and for others its the other way around. It makes for a fun group game as well. The only problem (other than the steep price), are the printed cards, the colors are very hard to tell apart (is it blue or purple? green or dark green?). So make sure you double and triple check before you start the game. If not for that, I'd give it 5 stars.

This game has kept me occupied during the cold days of winter--it seems easier than it is--more than once I have gotten down to the last piece and found that it did not go there --then other pieces had to be moved--and I am still at the "easy" level!! I am improving, however, and I think I am learning to think more logically.

I was so excited to get this marble run for my son, but when we opened it and tried to put it together it just kept falling apart. It isn't sturdy at all. Everytime we got any height at all when my son went to put the marble on the run the tower would fall down. I am not impressed with this toy. I would not have bought it if I had known how flimsy it was. The picture of it looks great, but for us it is anything but. I would save your money and go buy the one from Walmart...it has gears and looks like it would be sturdier????

Bought this for my 6 year old son, and the whole family enjoys it, even my 3 year old! Both kids will play with it for HOURS on end. It can be a little tricky sometimes to get the pieces to line up, but not to the point where it's frustrating- just takes a little time to learn the ropes. A SUPER toy. I will be purchasing it for nephews and nieces as well. It's a great deal for all the pieces you get- lots of variety and endless possibilities for constructing. My favorite piece is the white "Y"- it splits the run into two tracks, so that the marbles alternate which way they go. Makes the whole thing twice as much fun, since you can have more than one trail going. Buy it- it's marbleous.

We bought this marble run for our daughter when she was 4. She's now 10 and still loves to play with this toy. She asked for a 2nd set so she could make it even bigger, which we bought. The set is challenging as kids can create their own twists and turns and must figure out where to put landings and chutes so that the marbles keep moving all the way to the end. When the cousins (boys age 8-11) come over, it's the first thing they ask to play with. Keeps kids occupied and fascinated for hours. Highly recommend.

We purchased this set for our 2 boys, 5 and 2. There are plenty of pieces for the boys to easily construct new runs and provide hours of entertainment. My husband and I enjoy making elaborate runs for the boys to play over and over. It is a great educational toy the entire family loves. I would recommend this set.

We got this marble run for our 2 1/2 year old, knowing that he would be too young to put it together himself, but hoping that it would still be fun regardless. And we have not been disappointed! This is fun for the whole family -- I get hours of entertainment building different runs for the marbles, and my son is happy for hours putting the marbles on the run and watching them go. It is definitely not as durable as some of the wooden (and way more expensive) marble runs that I have seen, but for the price, and for a 2 1/2 year old, it's been perfect.
