I purchased this as a birthday present for my godchild a 7 year old boy. After talking with his parents I found out it was a complete hit and his favorite birthday present by far.

This set was a hit with my 6 year old granddaughter. She liked all the experiments and was able to perform them with minimal help. It didn't take long for her to go through all of them, though, and she was wishing there were more.

I gave this gift to my two nieces(their fathers are brothers). The opening of the one I witnessed created great interest - actually her father seemed as much interested in it as she did! It brought them together on the project of trying all the experiments....I felt my job had been done! LOL

Both of my kids ages 8 and 13 loved this kit. We did all the experiments over Christmas Break. Provided a little refresher in reading, science, and vocabulary when they were out of school for a week without any complaints from the kids because they loved it. Fun experiments are easy to do and cool to watch. Definitely recommend it!

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our five year old son to start introducing him to science. There are about 9 or 10 experiments that we split into two different sessions; we all had a blast each time. Really, it's pretty basic stuff, and you wouldn't have a hard time getting around most the necessary components on your own (with the exception of the red cabbage powder and citric acid), but the kit is very convenient. All-in-all, we thought this was fun and will probably do a few of the experiments a couple more times (the underwater volcano is pretty wicked). I plan to check out other products this company offers.

My son's six months and sitting up. We bought this toy for him and it's one of his favorites. It's passed the drool test & very durable. I don't write many reviews but I saw this product and had to share my experiences. It's great.

I would buy this toy for any baby that likes to spin things. We bought this for my sixth month old now 7 months later he still loves to play with it. Great product.

This was one of the first toys my son would play with in his high-chair. Back then (3-4 months?) all he could muster was to try to spin it slightly. Now that he is 10 months he still on occasion gives it a whirl. Great toy, highly recommend, keeps interest and has plenty of repeating words with different modes. (Cat, Dog, or C, D, E, etc)

My son loves this toy! It has 3 different modes, animals, letters and the alphabet song. It keeps him occupied for a long time and is very durable. It's fallen to the floor many times, as many of his toys do, and hasn't been damaged at all. We love it!

I purchased this toy for my two grandchildren. (7 & 9 mos)They both play with the toy. It is fun to spin and listen to the sounds. I do think Leapfrog could have made better choices for some of the animals and sounds used. The children don't seem to mind. They just love to spin and hear the sounds. Overall a good toy and worth the money. I like the two sound levels too.

My kids have enjoyed learning the songs that go with this game and they have been improving on their process of elimination skills! I think it has been very useful in memorizing things!

I read rave reviews about this product and it's educational value. My 4 1/2 yr. old grandsons quickly became bored with it and now it's collecting dust. Certainly not a favorite of theirs and I question the educational value of it.

This was purchased for a 3 year old. At first he was really hesitant about the toy. His 7 year old brother loves it and is often trying to get the high score. It can be played as a 1 or 2 player game. We found that the kids get impatient trying to take turns. Especially, when they figure out the sequence. The game is not excessively loud and is good in the car. It plays several sequences in the form of songs with different levels. It doesn't seem to repeat the answers in the same patterns. A good toy to grow with.

But this toy hasn't been very interesting to my daughter at all. She's 3, and a very bright child, but this toy has never even made it properly out of the packaging. Maybe she will be like another reviewer's child and go back to it later and love it, but so far, she's not had any interest in it. She played with it for a few minutes the day she got it and I've not seen her play with it since. Maybe we have a bad one, but it doesn't seem to have any way to differentiate the different parts of the sequence . All the lights flash at the same time no matter what setting or sequence it's playing at the time, so my daughter will try to get to the very first one, and if she gets it wrong more than a couple of times, it skips to a new game. The sound also seems to come out of one main area, so even listening to get the sequence right by judging where the sound came from is impossible. It doesn't have a demo mode, so I know that's not it. I expected better from Leap Frog.

This toy is rather small (think portable, that's not a bad thing), fun, colorful and very eye catching. It teaches sequencing and memory skills and it's just hard to resist going for another round. I would recommend it.
