Scientific Explorer's Mind Blowing Science Kit for Young ScientistsReviewsThis kit was a good way for my sister to learn a lot about science. There are different activity's you can choose from in the activity book. I LOVED doing it with her. I got to know what citric acid what do with baking soda and water. This product was very good purchase for my sister. My grandson is turning five and he regards life as an experiment waiting to happen. For instance, he received a butterfly habitat and watched the butterflies hatch out then called me to tell me about letting them go. Recently we were in the backyard trying to catch fireflies! I bought this science kit to encourage him to love science. There were more experiments and materials than I had thought. He has already done four different things and has many more to do and just loves it. I see this as a good educational toy to inspire a youngsters interest. My son received this for Xmas soon after turning 4yo. He LOVES it! There are two volcano simulations that he LOVES. He'll do them over and over. He does need help with it, so it's not something I can leave him to do on his own, but it sparks great conversations and questions. All the materials (or at least most, I can't remember them all right now) included are food stuffs--citric acid, red cabbage powder, baking soda, etc--so I feel like it's safe to use with little ones and in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I highly recommend this one. We have another one that he likes, but this one is his favorite. My 6 year old was so excited for his first experiment set. He immediately did two experiments with Daddy (which was nice for Mommy to have a break). If your kid can sit still and follow directions, this is a great activity. We bought this for my 6 yr olds birthday and so far it has been great. It is advanced enough for a much older child, but also simple enough that my 3 yr old loves it too. We will definately be buying another kit from this series. Average Rating:![]() |
